Cort & Fred Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd has been appointed by EDISP (Pty) Ltd as an Independent Environmental Assessment
Practitioner (EAP) for a Basic Assessment for the proposed Emalahleni Dordrecht IPP Solar Project in Dordrecht, Eastern Cape.
The proposed Project is a 10MW Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Power Plant, called EDISP Solar Park. The installed capacity of the
Project will be 12.0 MWpDC in order to generate a Contracted Capacity and a Maximum Export Capacity of 10 MWpAC. The
energy generated by the Project will be delivered at 22kV at Eskom substation (S/S) in Dordrecht. As part of EDISP Solar Park, a
4.5km 22kV overhead power line will be constructed from the solar plant to the Eskom Dordrecht 22/11kV substation (S/S).
