Emalahleni Local Municipality Her Worship Mayor Nomveliso Nyukwana with the Executive Committee and officials of the municipality will handover the paving projects to people of Dordrecht and Indwe with the aim of ensuring service delivery.

This handover will inform the public about the projects that are set to commence on the two identified towns.

The project will cover both Dordrecht town and Munikvilleat Dordrecht, it is going to take 5 months as it will cover 2.4 kilometres and is expected to commence on the first week of February 2017.

At Indwe the project will cover 2,2 kilometres with a budget of R4,6 million for this financial year, and in the next financial year there is a budget of R5, 1 million. The project will cover two areas which are Phumlani and Sonwabile which falls under Ward 16. In the above mentioned places it will take a period of nine months and is set to commence on the second week of February 2017.

Emalahleni Local Municipality is proud to announce that there will be50 employment opportunities for both skilled and unskilled people that will be created at Dordrecht and 40 people are expected to benefit on work opportunities as skilled, semi-skilled and general workers at Indwe.
