Tourism Emalahleni Local Municipal area is reach in tourism and heritage as there are naturally landscapes, modified and newly established places in this area that are of interest to tourists and explorers. The heritage of this area encompass the diversity in culture with cultural patterns of the people living in this area if showcased can attract people are afar due to the uniqueness it resembles.

Currently there are a limited number of existing tourist attractions within the area such as the Indwe Resort with accommodation facilities and the Kloof (A viewing point) in Dordrecht. There are areas where Bushmen paintings exist which have the potential to be developed into tourist attractions. Trout fishing trails and mountain bike races have also become recent tourist attractions.
